Help lg connect freeze

My LG connect ms840 just decided to freeze. The battery was very low and I was talking it shut off then turned back on. When I went to unlock the phone the screen froze and wouldn't shut off. Now, after charging, when I try to turn it on, it freezes when it hits the "metropcs" screen. Has anybody else had this issue? I can't get it to go past the "metropcs" screen period.

Volume Down + Power.

Hold those two for roughly ten seconds 'till you get to the black and white screen stating that you're in "restore mode."

Hit power twice, and be ready to pray you synced all your contacts, and saved everything externally as it's going to delete anything on the phone.(NOT THE SD CARD - Just the phone) and reset the Operating Environment.

got similar problem like this and i had to do hard reset as u've been told before...
everthing worked fine since then.

are you using juice defender or gingerbread keyboard?
