Help LG Connect keeps restarting about every hour or two! Help!

I'm having. this. issue but my phone is stock no root, no tweaking of anything and reboots when not connected to power adapter

Yea mine still ghost reboots (been putting up with it for a while now) sometimes like15 times a day) I haven oticed that while it stays plugged in it doesn't reboot that much maybe one or twice during 10 hours or so. But running on the battery it reboots A LOT....

That is very weird... why would the msd card cause reboots ? What brand and size are you using ?

I have the biggest card I can use. I hate to change it, got a lot of info on mine. I put version 2 back on last night . Gonna try that one again ....

Honestly idk....but i changed my sd card 32gd ultra sd and put a regular 32 sd and it works Fine ....maybe the defaulted sd makes the phone reboot ....but just try. Putting another sd card......o yeah and I'm running broken out ROM

None of the above worked for me, but this did.

I took out the SD card, started up the phone...powered it down, put the SD card back, fired up the phone and it worked good as new.

These other suggestions are great if you want to absolutely wipe everything off of your phone...but don't actually fix anything....just make it worse.

well I didnt read all your post but I happen to have the same problem...and I guess there is not fix, I got my phone replace my metro 4 times and send to LG 2 times and the phone keep rebooting..well at least it did one time since I connected back (I did that at 5pm by 7 the phone reboot) so my guess is dont waste your time and it better to get a new one.

I dont think is google, i think it maybe facebook, I unistall all of the google app updates except google play and I went to facebook and the phone reboot, we should list the app we have ..we have to have a app in common that is doing this..

So far I have:
Facebook
Facebook Messenger
outlook mail
yahoo mail
Instagram
whatsapp
go sms
and map my walk..

yeah no to many exiting app here,....LOL

I am having the exact same issue, Metro replaced my phone back in Sept because of this "unknown" issue. It is quite frustrating. I am going to take out my SD card to see if that fixes the problem. Any updates on if this worked or not? Oh, I have also removed all of my apps, security software (Nortons) and have tried to do a software update, but of course I get the "not registered" message when I try to manually update the software.

Yeah I had the restarting issue recently before I ditched my Connect. The reboots for me still happened when I removed the SDcard, they just happened less often.

For me at least, possibly the SDcard was an issue, but something else was lurking in my phone causing reboots as well.

Never figured it out though, as this and other issues pissed me off enough to get rid of it (I wanted to keep it until I got a Nexus 5 and experiment on it with flashing of the unfinished CM beta... Oh well)

I am having the same issue. Not rooted, not too many apps. I suspect it is the battery as one has said. I ordered a new extended battery and back cover to go with it. Will get here sometime this week. Let's see what happens when it gets here.

New battery did nothing. Going to try a factory reset and see if an app or setting was the issue. Going to use no apps for awhile see if it still does the random restart dance.

Don't waste your time. The phone rebooting has nothing to do with bugging apps, bad battery, or malfunctioning sd card. But with Metro PCS 4G LTE network, if you force your phone to use 3G only the phone will not reboot. The only way to fix the problem is to buy a new phone. Metro PCS will not acknowledge the problem is on there end.

They know about the problem. An update will be pushed soon to phones with SW version MS840VV5 to fix this problem.

VV5 dont fix the problem, sorry but you need a new phone, I had the issues and i ended up getting the phone replace. nothing that you do it would fix the issue.
