Root LG Connect Stock ROM (sticky links dont work)

I bought the SG3 today and I wanted to xfer my LG Connect to my girlfriend. However I was running BrokenOut and the metro employees couldnt transfer her number to my connect. I want to unroot and put the stock rom back in, I had a file for it on my comp but I cant seem to find it.

I get this message and then it aborts:

/tmp/recovery.log was copied to /sdcard/clockworkmod/recovery.log. Please open ROM Manager to report the issue

Unzip the file and place in your sd card, clockworkmod, backup folder.
Then boot into recovery and restore.

It's my own backup and i haven't changed it so it should work.

You might want to just flash rom #2. It has the necessary file to activate and it's better than broken out. To me anyways. But if you're really intent on keeping broken out you can just put this file into your system apps folder. It's what you need to activate.

All I want to be able to do is transfer my GF number to this phone. The app to do it force closes when you put in the security code at the store. I figure its because the phone is rooted/ROM'd. Everything works fine I get up to

Installing: /sdcard/ZV8StockRomCWMNoRoot.zip

Installing update
Installation aborted

Im just hoping the ROM is the issue not the phone
 
Yeah i know. The reason you can't transfer is because broken out rom doesn't contain that file that i gave u a link to. It's the metrohiddenmenu file. Put it in your system apps folder and reboot.
 
I cant get my phone to boot up the only thing I did was update clockwordmod
and then it would not come on. Any idea if it would at least power up I could connect it to the LG software and restore it.
Also it was MS840V I lost that when I installed a rom.
 
Hey if I'm not mistaken after you place the file there don't forget to fix permissions in recovery. I'm not sure if this is necessary for this file but i would do it just incase.
 
i think the only your restore didn't work is because you didn't have the new clockworkmod. which would be all in one deal. i had it and i just did restore and workout fine everything is back to normal :) thanks to the person who posted the back up
 
Hey folks if there are dead links or there is anything that needs tweaked in the root guide stickies, please just PM me or any other guide to get it fixed. :)

Also you can always hit the report button and explain that in the text box and it'll get to the MODs, who can then get the word out. :)

Please give us the most info possible with the newest methods or links so we can get them added. :)
