just downloaded it, looks like maybe source. Inside zip, there is android.tar.gz and kernel.tar.gz.

Taken from the readme.txt included in zip:

1. Android build
- Download original android source code ( gingerbread 2.3.6_r1 ) from Welcome to Android | Android Open Source
- Unzip opensource packages of MS840_GB_android_2.3.6_r1.zip into downloaded android source directory
- And, merge the source into the android source code(gingerbread)
- Run following scripts to build android
$ . build/envsetup.sh
$ choosecombo 1 1 generic user
$ make
- When you compile the android source code, you have to add google original prebuilt source(toolchain)
into the android folder
- After build, you can find output at out/target/product/generic

2. Kernel Build
- Unzip MS840_Kernel.tar.gz at the android folder
- When you compile the kernel source code, you have to add google original prebuilt source(toolchain)
into the android folder.
$ . build/envsetup.sh
$ choosecombo 1 1 generic user
- Build kernel
$ cd Kernel
$ make cayman_mpcs_us-perf_defconfig ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-eabi-
$ make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-eabi-
- After Build, You Can find the build image at arch/arm/boot
