LG enV2 chargers work with Droid X

Just a tip... If you're like me and your old phone was an LG enV2, you can use your home and car chargers with your Droid X (or original Droid).

any micro USB 5 pin will work just fine. Black berry chargers, ect, all work fine.

Good to know. We already have 2 env2 chargers, and also 2 BT stereo headset chargers. Now we have backups in case we have any failures, and we can keep two sets in each our cars, as well as at home!

I was pretty happy to learn that my enV2 was fitted with the same charger, since I have like 3 of them leftover now =D

I had one 5 pin USB charger that didn't work, but Any other 5 pin microUSB has worked. I'm glad a standard is starting to develop in the market. I was sick of buying a new car charger and USB cable every time I got a new phone. Now they're even compatible across BRANDS.

There was a EU or UN initiative about a year back or so asking all the phone makers to standardize connectors because all the old chargers were filling up landfills.
