Root Lg Esteem 802.1x Eap Wireless problems

I've made sure i had the right password, my school is a high school and doesn't require the download of a certificate. I don't know!! :confused: every time i try to connect it will try to connect, connect for a split second then dissconect just as fast as it tryed to connect!!! help!! i just want wireless at school!! there is no 4g in most areas and all the iphonians are able to use it and most people with android phones!! :mad: so why can't i!! ever since i donwloaded and installed the #2 rom i have had no chance at it. But i don't think its that!? :confused: HELLLPPP :(
 
Hello and welcome to the forums sorry to see that u are having trouble with the wifi 2 things that can repair that first is make sure all the channels are not taken up . Example if the school has Verizon and the box only has 11 channels and you are the 12th one to get on wifi . It wont let you until a free channel is ready . Second thing is download wifix from playstore and if problems it will fix .:eek::p:D. Also try to power off device and power on
 
I have tried to do many things, trust me. I've been hassled by this problems for about 3 months on my own. Then i stumble upon this awesome forum. ALL ESTEEM. it made me so happy i almost cried :) jokin set aside though, yes, and i have tried so many wifi configurers tat my thumbs are sore.
 
I am downloading right now, i love how fast everyone got back to me. Thank you, also wifix manager or wifix lite? and i hope this works. Ultimatley will get back to you guys a little bit later tommorow.
 
Well do u live near a local wawa or mcDonald if so go inside and see if you can log on the wifi is free or if u know another free place go and try cause i think school systems are not easy access . Can u see if your device is showing .

As i said before this Extensible Authentication Protocol, orEAP, is an authentication framework frequently used in wireless networks and Point-to-Point connections. U will need a password to obtain access . Search for other open WiFi networks .:eek::banghead:
