lg esteem rebate

they will receive it fast but takes longer to send it back to you, im guessing they do that so you will have over 1 hour talk time and/or your 30 days have pass so you cant return the phone and get a full refund plus the $100 MIR.
 
when i did my rebates on the ascend, it took 2 months and it was on a metropcs visa card that you can use anywhere...:eek:
 
I got my confirmation email 2 weeks after I send it so let the waiting begging for the actual gift card.

this is where i get confused no where does it say to add two numbers to make 18 we have a IMEI which is 14 digits i see nothing in my phone that says imed where are these 4 digits that everyone is saying where suppose to add

and just a question if our phone is recognized by the IMEI then when we add 4 digits to it that throws the whole thing off and the number is no longer unique to our specific phone so how is this suppose to work

Im Just asking???

So I went in and played with the Esteem at Metro today. Was going to wait till Monday to get it but I just cant, the mofo is mine in the AM. Ahaha But anyways I was talking to the guy there, also owns the store and a real cool dude and is actually one of few Metro employees/owners that knows his sh*t, I was just shooting the breeze with him and he told me, and he wasnt trying to sell me on it or anything, but he told me if you send the rebate off in the next 2 weeks or less youll most likely get it back between 4-6 weeks because everybody that has gone in to check out the Esteem have all told him the same thing "oh Im going to wait for the Holidays" and he's friends with a couple of the other Metro stores in my area and theyre all reporting the same thing. Said if I were to wait for closer to the Holidays (whihc I wasnt going to really anyways) he said it would probably be so swamped that itd take 8-10 maybe a little more to receive the rebate
