Root LG Esteem - ROM Troubles

You Installed... The ROM, ClockWork Mod, what? I Will Be Up For A Little Bit Longer To Try To Help You Out With This Because I Can't Go To Bed Without My Phone Being Ready To Just Pick Up & Go In The Morning LoL So I Know How you Feel.

heres what you do.... turn off the phone, then when its all turned off(make sure the phone isn't charging) hold down the volume -/+ keys and the power at the same time until the LG logo comes up.
Let go of the power button while still having the volume key pressed down and press the power button 3 times and continue to hold the volume buttons down.
From there it will ask you to permently delete data and something else; press the power button to confirm.
Then you will see a list of choices, one being backup and recovery. Do the backup. Then when its done just reboot.
 
Instead Of Rebooting After Backup Is Complete, "Go Back" Until Main Clockwork Mod Menu And Select "Install ZIP From SD Card", Select "Choose ZIP From SD Card" or "Install ZIP From Internal SD Card"(May Have Not Worded Exactly As In CWM). Then Choose The ROM You Wish To Install. THEN Reboot.
 
Question, Is the normal Recovery the same as the Quick Boot recovery?x.x Even when I try to click back up it gives error image not found or something. I have to back up on sd :S
 
Try The Method Posted By Someone Else Above On How To Get Into Clockwork Mod Recovery To See If You Have It Installed Or You Can Use The Link On How To Install It(Also Posted Above) To See If The Steps Look Familiar And Possibly Refresh Your Memory On If You Have Installed It Yet.
 
When I turn my phone off and turn it back on the LG screen pops up i hold the power + volume buttons, my phone then just turns black and restarts again

k look hold both of thu volume buttons and the the power button once u c the lg logo pops up let go thu power button but keep holding the volumes button a screen should pop up to reset ur phone hit thu power button than its goona ask u confirm that u wanna reset pressd the power button again then it should go to cwm

Ive tried what you said it got to the CWM but when I click coose zip from internal sdcard i click the file and then okay then says
Installing: /emmc/GSE-1.5-signed-1.zip
Finding Update package...
Opening update package..
E:Can't open /emmc/GSE-1.5-signed-1.zip
(bad)
Installation Aborted :S

k good u got to cwm have u backed up everything already. if u did just start over delete that file and go back were u got thu link and download try again could of been a bad download
imma send u the one I'm using c if it works
 
Redownload The GSE 1.5 File And Then Let Me Know, You Will Have To Do Another 2 Steps In CWM Before Installing The ROM. Not Hard Steps At All. We Are Making Progress Now So Hang With Me And Pnut And We Will Be Able To Get You Through It All. LoL
 
Go Back & Download GSE 1.5 And Put The WHOLE ZIP File Onto Your SD Card(Internal Or External(Does Not Matter Which One). Do Not Open On Computer Or Anything, Just Download, Copy From Computer and Paste Onto SD Of Phone. In Order To Be Able To Put It Onto The SD Card You Must Boot The Phone Back Up And Put The Phone Into Mass Storage. Let Us Know When You Are Done Putting It Onto The SD Card.
