Last night the power of my LG Esteem ran out. When I tried powering my phone it wouldn't boot. Instead the LG screen would come on & power off. I tried restoring the phone by pressing Power & volume buttons. After I comfirmed that I did want to Permanently Erase User Data &Reset Settings It would start the phone again & it seemed as if it was starting to erate the data, but the phone would power off again & restart. Now all I have is a black screen with a white trangle with a yellow exclamation sign inside it & a green droid. Can this be fixed?

mmm....interesting. Are you saying you can't boot into CWM?
-What happens when you take the battery out, reinsert it and put the phone on the charger?
Yea I can't. & the same thing happens. It will power on .. off .. on (by itself) then it gets stuck on the black screen with the white trangle & after about 2 -3 minutes it will power off & on again

I've seen this before. Try plugging the phone to the charger without the battery, wait a few seconds, put the battery in and report back

also, when you plug it to your PC does the computer read the phone?

The LG screen came on then the battery image cam up (showing charging progress) When I tried powering the phone the LG Screen came on, some animation happend but it powerd off again, then back on & now its stuck on the same screen with the white triangle exclamation sign and the green droid

-while off, if you try to do another hard reset/boot into CWM what does it do?
-while the triangle exclamation sign is on the screen and you try to power on or boot into CWM what does it do?

have him try to boot into CWM multiple times, it might take him a few tries until it finally happens
I tried the hard reset but the same thing happend. I comfirmed & it showed the little animation as if it was in progress of erasing data, but the phone powers off. Then it goes on a ON OFF ON OFF sequence

-you were rooted and had CWM installed

The phone does show its charging though. If I don't try to power the phone on it shows the battery and charging progress

so it IS charging while off.

Yea, constant noise (everytime it powers on .. off ..and on) The noise letting u know theres a device connected to the pc. But usually the pc read the phone or atleast the sd card but this time it doesnt

-I want you to plug the phone to the pc while the phone is off and let it show the charging animation. DO NOT TURN IT ON
-at this point you should've heard the sound on your pc, this indicates the pc IS recognizing the phone, its just not reading the card which is fine.
-Run the LG tools as if you were updating the phone and report back

cool. you should be able to downgrade to ZVB. this can be achieved even while the phone is off but charging off the computer. tell gbiggie to guide you through it since he made the guide himself
