That is weird since i installed it on my indulge and looks like that. Then again we all need Chazz to solve this issue

Thanks plus that's one of it but i would definitely would like for chazz to chime in definitevely there are differences in his device compare to ours Ima WRONG?? i belive he didnt save the picture like ima do just to have a htc sense background??? His clock even looks like the numbers flip down while in the fancy widget and beatiful widget dont do...

Well, first, I'm not sure if chazz has the phone yet. The vid and pics were from someone else. He clearly states that.
You could also try ' Weather and Toggle Widget.' Personally, I prefer FancyWidgets, it just looks better imo. I like making my own set ups so I wouldn't copy sense anyway.
 
??? Is this one able to do data and phone at the same time?? I read that the indulge could not. Any one test out battery life yet? Does any one have likes or dislikes about this phone yet? (other than lack of root yet) I am sure this forum will grow with lots more info in the next few weeks as people get ther phones.

Well Aplus he did stated he works for metro and he was using one for testing purposes
 
Ive notice the day it was launched that it said 8gb but if you go to Metro's website and look at the specs now it says 5gb, so which is it?

The video was from LeakforYou. I just uploaded it to YouTube.

He said he used the paid version of Beautiful Widgest to get that "weather" widget. It does look cool, so for my phone (which I finally got Oct 1), I also bought Beautiful Widgets from the Android Market. After you download the paid app package, there's also a couple of free add ons -- free weather, free animation package. I downloaded those also, just in case they were needed to recreate that look. ;)

Ironically, after experimenting, I found it was NOT actually the "Weather" widget (from Beautiful Widgets) but instead it was the "Clock" widget (from Beautiful Widgets) that was used in the LeakforYou video. It also has the weather forecast. And when I tap on the widget, the weather animation starts and then shows me the 4-day forecast -- just like in the video.

I am not using the bubble background on my phone. I am using a landscape pic for mine.

They do and will. (I work for metropcs) for 60days we had instant rebates on some phones. Indulge for one. $100 instant and $50 mail in.

Depends on the sales volume. They'll pop the instants when things need to be increase if you catch my drift.

I'm Having Issues With My Esteem Just Got It 2 Wks Ago & So Far I'm Havin 3 Issues With My Phone:1st Most Of The Time Wen I Turn The Phone on & Off It Doesn't Go Back 2 My Desired Ringtone 4 The Phone.:2nd Sometimes Wen I Push The Volume Down Button 2 Lower It All The Way The Phone Restarts Itself.: & 3rd I Sumtimes Loose My Task Bar Wen Restarting

i would try doing a factory reset. If that doesn't work you can always take it back and exchange it, i believe you have 30 days.

Have you tried the firmware update?

Some places got it OTA, SFL never got it OTA so i did it manually

Hey Chettowin

the purpose of rooting is so you can improve your phones abilities for example when you buy a phone it usually comes with carrier branded bloatware that sucks some of the performance out of our handset,so you rooted that way you can remove the bloatware and get your handset going the way it should be. Also it could help you battery life etc etc.
 
The phone looks really nice. I would like to upgrade to this phone but I think I should wait until the price gets lower, not sure. But at the same time, by then, they will probably be out with an even better 4G phone I bet.
 
Why Would Someone Root Their Phone If It Voids There Warranty If Something Goes Wrong With There Phones They Cant Replace Them Rite?..........Once A Person Roots There Phones Can They Be Unrooted? (I Was Told No)
