Help Lg Exceed 2

Newbie
So I was using my phone when I got the brilliant idea to delete my system ui. So now I'm stuck on the boot screen logo, I tried deleting catch, factory resetting it everything. If anyone can help that would be great. If you are wondering I am rooted with 4.4.2, thanks.

I'm not really familiar with that device but, I assume you did this via your recovery? What recovery do you have? Are you able to put a rom onto your sd card (if applicable) and flash it via your recovery? (custom recovery)

Then what "ui" did you delete?
Perhaps I'm confused, sorry, but I assumed you meant you wiped your "/system" somehow and now you have no OS to boot into.
You mention you are rooted...is that all you did? I mean, you did not install/flash a custom recovery?

Hmm, I've been looking around and I see a couple different methods for different LG devices to get into download mode.
From,
access Download Mode by turning off your phone, then hold Volume Up and plugging in your USB cable.

Steps to enter download mode.

Turn phone off.

Hold volume up and down at the same time.

Plug micro USB into phone and continue to hold volume up and down until you see download mode

Have you tried any other button combo to get into download mode?
 
Yes of course there's a flash tool for lg, I just got a little scared thinking what would happen if you tried with odin [emoji28]
 
Ah yes, sorry techno I'm far removed from lg as I have Samsung and nexus devices only. Just had to chime in before lol but Mike has your back.

Even though I have an LG device, I've not had to use the tool or any other kdz file or whatever.
I'm just searching around for his device :p
 
Haha good stuff man. If I had an lg I would constantly be needing to use it lol
Do report back how everything goes OP, were curious to know.
