Help Lg Exceed 2

Hey guys. If you can locate a kdz or tot file for this device (I'm not familiar with this particular phone), then use the tools and instructs here:

Obviously, you'll need to use your own firmware but if it's available, you're in.

Normally I'd search it all out but I'm mobile and hanging with family at the moment. So first try a Google search for your firmware, also be aware of this option:

If you can locate your IMEI, you can give this a shot. If you happen to have the box the phone came in, it'll be on there. If you have a removable battery cover, it may be under that, if not try pressing power + volume up + volume down all at the same time from a fully powered off state. Sometimes the IMEI can be found that way also.

That said, using your IMEI does not work to get a kdz link on all LG's. Its just something to try if the kdz/tot is not readily available.

You'll need the LG United Drivers for recognition. VZW typically has a unique set of drivers, not sure in your case. Once installed, when you connect the device to the PC while in download mode, you'll be looking for LGE AndroidNet Serial Port in Windows device manager. (Or very similar wording)

Then you should be good to flash the kdz. LG also has a mobile support tool that may work. I don't use that one personally but some do.

I get a error when I put my imei in.

Note that the link starts hxxp. You are changing that to http yeah? They just did that so the link would not parse.

If that works, you'll see some info about your phone and about halfway down that list of stuff, you'll see a web link ending in .kdz. Copy/paste that into your browser. Once downloaded, use the 2014 kdz flash tool linked earlier to flash the kdz and restore your phone.

If all that fails, try using the LG mobile support tool instead. Get it HERE.
