probably using a crappy charger from another phone. The LG one's got extra juice power than most I have around the house, it affects charging times accordingly. Or maybe the battery is cheap and dying.

I had couple NON oem (very very cheap for sure) batteries in the past for my other electronic devices and I had similar issue like you have, sometime the time was longer while the other days were shorter. It is very difficult to say when you have NON oem batteries, maybe the charger, cable, or the batteries themselves. Anyway, my oem/genuine LG extended battery takes about 6-7 hours to completely charged, therefore I always let it overnight and this is 100% safe since it is Lith, oem baterry and its charger/cable.
