Root Lg f60 metro pcs

I am new to this device...Got root and twrp installed. Flashed cm 12 with gapps and have read through and tried all methods posted to get data working. Am i missing something?

Yeah there is a thread about it in the rooted section of the forums but if your gonna use link2sd, you would have to donate in order to transfer the app's data (which is always the biggest) feature.

To gain root access in lollipop you have to activate developer by clicking repeatedly on build number in about phone then go into developer options turn it on then scroll down to root access and change it to apps or apps and adb and for the data the setting shouldn't require reboot
 
Cool beans guys, didn't had to re-install noobifieds rom again and data immediately flicked on after following pistol777's workaround plus an edit with the metro APN.

Edit: found a bug, if the device is charging while it's off, you can't turn it on while it's charging and you may need to pull out the battery and insert it back in.

Something is off...kernel is setting cores at 1190MHz non stop.

Edit: lol had to shut off cpu boost

Has anyone found a way to make the camera work yet

There is a major bug with mine that seemed to have screwed me over this morning i woke up and checked my phone the screen was bright so i turned the brightness down and that's when the phone just went completely dark i have tried to reboot it and take the battery out but nothing i also know i activated usb debugging but the device no longer shows up on my computer the only thing i can get to is download mode

Hey! so you guys helped me get this device rooted and try out cyanogenmod 12. I am interested in the kernel source for this device if anyone has it. Would you mind pointing me to the repo for it?

Quick word to you my man. I've had this phone for a long time now and was thoroughly depressed when I couldn't get any ROMs having had the option with every other phone I had previously. You sir, are doing the community a huge favor. Have my likes. haha

The source of the camera problem is in /system/lib/hw the .so files aren't compatible with our hardware. I don't think pulling those files from lg stock and using them instead will work...

That's not the problem they are ours and come directly from out phone the problem is kernel related. Tons of drivers have been updated. Somewhere along the upgrade I broke something. I push the same updated camera files from the lg tribute on stock and camera still works.

I guess I need to do my homework then.
 
Is there a way to get xposed working on this I've installed it and it says its working but the apps I'm trying to use says that there not active but I did activate them and reboot my device

In xposed click modules then check the app and reboot
 
I'm getting that same error ....Some apps work. Greenify, tinted status bar work. Tried gravity box lollipop. No go.
