LG G2 Backup help needed

Hi there,

I've recently tried to do a backup of my G2 with the stock LG backup program.

It gets all the way through and a little message appears saying backup complete but then suddenly says 'backup failed'. In the notification area it also says 'cannot backup'with no error code or explanation.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know what I can do?

My G2 is running 4.2.2

Please help! Would really like to backup my phone!

Hey there, I moved your thread into the regular G2 forum for more views since your issue does not appear to be related to root. I can't say I've seen the "backup to Google servers" thing fail in the past but I'm hoping somebody else can offer up some ideas.
 
I've never used the LG backup tool (until now), it seemed to work for me without a hitch.

What you could try doing, go into your settings/apps/all apps and locate "lg backup". Try clearing the cache and data then give your device a reboot and see if it would let you completely back it up now.
 
I've just tried clearing the cache and data. I rebooted and it's still not working. I don't know what Im doing wrong. This is very frustrating! I'm attaching a couple of screenshots that I've taken but I don't think they'll shed any light TBH.

Any other ideas anyone? Thanks for your reply DragonSlayer.

Hi guys. Just to let you know that it's sorted now. I left out backing up personal data (such as music, pictures etc) and it's working fine now.
