Help LG G2 Battery drain

I have had my lg g2 for exactly one week. And I love it. Before the 4.4 update I noticed my battery to be better. My battery was fully charged today at 7 and is now at 45% at 3:50 pm. Is this good battery life? I haven't let my phone completely die only the first day I got it. To fully charge after that. Could that be my problem? Should I let the battery completely die? Or have I already ruined it for not giving it full life/death battery cycles?

Thanks

It really all depends how much you have used it throughout the day.

carlos505. since you just updated to 4.4, this suggestion shouldn't be too obnoxious. I'd perform a factory reset after backing up important files...

Same to me but i found a SOLUTION. Uninstall the LG weather theme (has a bug) and install the Weather and Widget app (set at settings not to use GPS for location), app is found on google play store.

Additional tip is to set battery save mode at settings - location.

Battery is perfect after did that.

For me the problem lay with Google search following the update to 4.4 - more precisely the option to keep listening for hot words. Even disabled this actually still seems to be on. I disabled Google search and battery has returned to normal
