Help LG G2 Text Notifications

I have an LG G2 with Verizon. I've noticed that when I am in a text conversation, that I do not get a notification tone unless I close all the way out after each response... Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to fix it?

Not the biggest deal ever but somewhat annoying... just wondering!

Haven't heard of that but the Light Flow app (free version) may be able to help (once you get your head around it lol)

Ok, so I checked out Light Flow and I think I figured out why this is happening (well, sort of lol). I am using Textra as my text app. When I installed Light Flow, Textra did not show up on the list through Light Flow. So I am thinking that I have to either change text apps or deal with it ... LOL. Thank you, though...without your response I don't think I would have figured it out. Have great day!

Ah right you'd need the payed version for Textra I think but glad you found some kinda solution
