Help LG g2x internal / external memory cards are not working

when I connected the Phone to the computer with the USB, it charges the phone, but it doesnt connect the phone for its internal/external memory..

I've installed the LG driver from the LG home page..

also turned on the MASS storage under the SD/memory card Settings
and tried the USB debugging.... Still nothing happens....

It seems like my computer doesnt detect the phone at all....

TRIED many on my laptop/desktop..... Windows 7, Windows xp...

nope, the computer doesnt detect the phone at all...
somehow it is able to charge the phone ...
