LG G3 Accessories Thread

I guess I'll just lay mine flat for $19 and call it a day. Those stand prices are insane.

Yeah, I had the same thought until I started using wireless charging more often. At home, I prefer an angled charger, where I can partially see the phone. At work, I don't mind the flat charger.

Now, another suggestion I have is creating a "make shift" wireless charging stand. It could easily be accomplished using one of those flat wireless charging stands and a cheap stand. All that would be needed is a stand that has a thick enough base to hold the phone propped up, with the wireless charger glued to the stand (needs to be strategically placed, in order to work right).

I've been thinking of doing a DIY, just to create my own "stands."

Good idea.

If not for the money, considering the time spent, then for fun.:D

wondering, are thr any companies which sell a bigger battery - that will fit into the lg3 )been announced),
do any of you (g2) users recommend certain companies.

i use htc sensation and ive bought 3 anker batteries within 3 yrs- but with anker around 8-10months the battery decreases by a bit.

Nothing announced yet,not even on e-Bay,where even the "pre-release" items usually show up, before they actually exist.

As for recommendations based on G2 ownership, any such would be an empty gesture,as the G2 has a sealed/non-removable battery.

They'll pop up soon enough,I'd stick w/the usual brands that are available for flagship devices as the G3.

Just ordered this external battery charger/stand from DailySteals:

https://www.dailysteals.com/heist/#deals/25838

Not anticipating a need for this so much for the G3,but,I do forget to charge up my Bluetooth devices occasionally.
This price even beats the 25% off accessory sale from T-Mobile.
At $12 (no tax & free shipping),it's a can't-miss.

Circle case for $63.89 w/ free shipping. And $165.39 w/ the wireless charging stand, which also lines up with the $99+tax price range I was expecting the stand to cost.

Genuine LG G3 Quick Circle Cellphone Cover Smartphone Case for F400 5 Colors | eBay

Lines up with the price I'm expecting the case to be, including tax, but not likely going to be swooping one up, in preference of obtaining the OEM wireless charging cover w/o circle view.

-EDIT-
Found a top seller that's .49 cheaper...

-EDIT 2-
Doh, KOLIO pointed out to me that the charger they display is the WCD-800, so the bundle pricing isn't worth it, considering the WCD-100 can be had for $83 on Mobile Fun. Quick Circle case is still somewhat valid though, for those itching to buy accessories ahead of time.

I think LG will release Quick Circle case in the US for $49.99 or under.

I am sold on the gold color being present. Eat your heart out, Sprint :p:D

Not everyone needs the faster transfer speed, but some prefer that. Transfer speed is the main reason people pick that up over the other.

I kind of knew that 45MB/s is faster than 30MB/s. :D

My question is why do I need 45MB/s in my phone?

It is a phone, not the damn DSLR, where every millisecond counts.

LG wireless charger ($20 from IceMonkey, thanks) works just fine with Nexus 5.

don't see why it wouldn't work w/G3.
