Root LG G3-D855 recovery doesnt install

Hi!

I've just rooted my european LG G3-D855 and im trying to install custom recovery to it.

First I installed TWRP manager and installed TWRP-recovery, but when it restarted all i got was black screen saying:

----------------------------------------------------------------
Secure Booting Error!
Cause : boot certification verify
----------------------------------------------------------------

The phone got stuck and all that helped was to remove the battery. After that the phone starts normally.

Then I tried to download the TWRP-recover-image from their website and use Flashify to install it but the same thing happened just the message is different:

----------------------------------------------------------------
[650] Fastboot mode started
----------------------------------------------------------------

The same thing.. the phone is stuck. I have to remove battery to get it to shut down. After that it starts normally.

Any ideas of how to install the recovery? Im trying to install a custom ROM but I would like to first get the recovery to work. :(

Sincerely yours,

Lauri

Hi! I solved the problem:

- Install old kitkat using LG flash tool
- Root using Drake
- Install twrp manager and Install recovery
- Flash the rom you want

The problem had to do with the New Lollipop installed but when you revert back to kotkat it all works like it should.
