HI Everyone
I am brand new here, just registered, I am in the UK, am hoping someone can help me as I have searched everywhere for an answer, now I love my phone and have no problems with it but trying to create a new empty folder seems impossible why ??? please tell me its me being thick and of course it can be done please I live in hope. This is the UK version phone which I think is slightly different to the US one.

The easiest method is by using a file manager like the built-in File Manager, Root Explorer, ES File Explorer, etc. Create a new folder on either the internal SD (/storage/emulated/0) or external SD card (/storage/external_SD), then give it a name. Long press the new folder and select "Add to Home screen", "Add to desktop", etc... whichever applies to the file manager app you're using. This will create a shortcut on your home screen pointing to the newly created empty folder.

Have you tried his other suggestion of ES File Explorer? I know with that you can create a folder.
In my opinion the stock File Manager is lame :)

You need to tap the folder icon w/ a plus sign in the middle of it, located in the lower LH corner of the directory you wish to create the folder.
