Hello,
I would like to get the new LG G3 phone. I never tried a "no-contract" option, so I don't know too much about it. I have a few questions regarding the no-contract approach with the LG G3:
Furthermore, with carriers that are not the big 4 (say, Straight Talk, Boost Mobile, etc.), I know they utilize the big 4 networks to provide 4G LTE speeds. However, are the speeds comparable to have service directly with the big 4 companies, or, are they a bit slower due to throttling, etc?
Any additional feedback advice would be much appreciated.
I would like to get the new LG G3 phone. I never tried a "no-contract" option, so I don't know too much about it. I have a few questions regarding the no-contract approach with the LG G3:
- Is anyone else purchasing the LG G3 (no contract)?
- If "yes" to #1 above, what carrier's monthly plan are you looking at and why?
- Are there any carriers' month-to-month plans that do not support the LG G3, since it's still so new?
- I suppose if I want to use a carrier that uses AT&T/T-Mobile towers, I need a GSM variant of the phone. Similarly, if I want to use a carrier that uses Verizon/Sprint towers, I need to get a CDMA variant of the phone. On Amazon.com, I see a "AT&T" variant, "Verizon" variant, and "Sprint" variant for no-contract. Is the AT&T variant the GSM, while the other too are CDMA?
