Help LG G3 stuck optimising apps

ts been sitting on app 74/217 for about 90 minutes.
The phone is not rooted. Im not sure what android version update it is, but it came though to my phone in australia tonight...

update: i took out the battery and now its stuck on73/125....so half the apps are gone? the sd card has unmounted?

and why is it still stuck and any advice please?

at least ive worked out that evry time i pull the battery out the number of apps to be optimised has been reduced....its stuck on 3/50 now...

A decent amount of our members are probably still recovering from Friday night/sleeping in/etc........

oh well...it finally got through optimising all the apps and it started crashing and rebooting constantly...i gave in an did a factory reset...working fine again

Resets can be a PITA,glad you're back up & running.
I hope you didn't lose anything that's not retrievable,especially pics......... (just about anything else can be replaced/replicated)

google photos has been backing up all my photos for 2 years now through a number of phones

I've seen mine get stuck on optimizing an app for 10 minutes before. No worries.
