Root Lg g4 canadian h812 rooting

When i dowloaded the file it said v10b im 10h is this going to brick my phone

hmm, then STOP, i wouldn't do that. We have to find a 10h rooted version of your image, unless you root it yourself, but that involves a few extra steps.

Is their a way i can downgrade to b buy flashing a kdz or is their a 10h out their besides the one i tought i had found

I can't find anything on a Canadian variant 10h version of software. If you want to be certain, then inject root yourself with the other method. If you do exactly as they say, it should work on any version.

Its really confusing for these canadian variants lol thats why i take my time and do not pull the trigger before i know exatly whats going to happen hahahahaa

Agreed, just keep your browser clean ie no unnecessary pages open, and follow the links. Although you don't need to follow that link with the rooted image, since you already have that from the other link we both found. I would just follow the instructions and use the 10h rooted file you have.
Again, there are still risks, I'm no expert. I did that to my phone 3 or 4 days ago hoping it would work. I used to have a nexus 5 which was made for stuff like this and there was much more support and information out there.

K i thought i had the right file i should try and run it and see what happens

Now the pc seemes to not be talking to the phone i have the propper drivers so can i run the script with a comand editor emulator right off the phone its self ?

Glad to hear it worked!
I also did some flashing work. I had initially flashed a rooted bell10c image on my phone, but my phone was running the latest bell update, which was 10e (and yet it worked fine). So I flashed back unrooted bell10c image, then with lg flash tool, flashed the 10e, then flashed the 10g from telus. It doesn't seem to matter which carrier you're taking it from.
So once the 10g was on my phone and still doing well, I installed virtual box running Ubuntu on my laptop and injected root into the 10g image i copied form my phone! And it all worked!
As for twrp, our 812s for now are SOL.

Dang .. I did the cam mod and the dual windo edit to true so all apps in dual windo but i need more any other cool shit for root that wont break the os

I have a question if i unroot buy going in a file manager and delette su and go in the xbin and delette the files for the root .. And not change the mod for the cam . and dual windo ...when the update for 6.0 rols out will it brick or mess things up for me ?

From my knowledge, if the OTA update script detects your system partition as modified in anyway, the update will fail.

I'm just wondering if it just looks for root access or looks at everything ... If the ota fails will it be recoverable buy flashing via lg flash tool and kdz ?
