Help LG Home using a lot of battery - what is it?

Hi,

I was wondering any P500 user know what is LG Home? I finished a 100% charge at 0000hrs, woke up at 0630hrs and found battery dropped to 77%. I checked battery usage and LG Home consumed a lot of battery.

That's LG's standard home screen. I never saw this behaviour while I still had it (now using LauncherPro Plus because of the nice Facebook widget)

Yes your right, conntected to a 3G Network uses battery. Turn your GPS off too, GPS uses HEAPS of battery. Just turn it off when your going to sleep and not charging it.

i turned it off and battery dropped about 2% overnight

keep your 3g turned off and wifi. also disable the auto sync this will also help
