Help LG keyboard question

Is this permanently enabled? I really miss swype (go on and bring the hate lol), but seriously I do. So I install the beta from the webpage and I go to activate it in settings and I can select it but lg keyboard stays actively selected and unhighlighted as to suggest I can deselect it. Anyone got a clue as how to make other keyboards the default?

Check out "Smart Keyboard Pro" - There is even a trial version.

You can select from numerous styles of keyboards from iPhone, Android, Gingerbread, Galaxy, HTC, Grey, White, Black and you can also D/L other skins.

You can also re-size the keys and do all kinds of customizations.

Not sure if it has "Swype" as I don't use it, but you can try the trial version and see if you like it.

IMO, this is the best Android phone app in the Play Store.

Highly recommended.

Yea I'm sorta hooked on the Swype feature. The stock LG keyboard has something similar, but it just isn't the same. Thanks though sir..

The stock Android 4.2 keyboard is also pretty nice. It requires a little more precision than Swype, but it's smoother. People have back-ported it to be compatible with previous versions of Android. There are versions on Google Play that include more options and settings. I think the most popular ones are "Jelly Bean Keyboard" by VLLWP and "Jelly Bean 4.2 Keyboard" by JohnTanmi.

No one uses SwiftKey 4? For me (bilingual speaker) is a must >.< I don't need to hit a 'language' key in order to go back and forth from english to spanish :P
