Root Lg Logo change possible?

Is it possible to change the lg logo when the lg logo when the phone is first powered on?

Theoretically, yes, but IIRC it's stored on another partition of the phone, and you'd need to crack it open somehow to change it. There doesn't seem to be too much information out there on this though, maybe giantpune or one of the CM devs would know?

Oh, I'll just leave it as is then lol

On my phone it's done through the Bootloader as a splash screen PG86IMG.zip but that's for the Evo V. :P

Actually, I think you can. There is an .rle file that contains that boot logo in the root of the phone. I have an SGS3 as well and I have a splash updater that converts PNG to RLE files. From there you can probably just swap the files out with Root Explorer.

I am a new user so I can't post links or anything, but if you go to this you can find it. I
