Help LG Motion 4g usb debugging help!!

My phone's usb debugging wont turn on. It is connected to a usb cable and the option isnt grayed out on my phone. When I enable the usb debugging it doesnt connect to my computer even when i change the option to mtp.

You have to unplug the phone first before turning on USB debugging.

I tried that too. I Even restarted both my phone and computer and still nothing...

I am having a similar issue with my LG Motion 4g as well. I even went onto the Android Development website and downloaded the recommended USB drivers for this specific phone but that didn't even seem to work..

You are to ENABLE the usb WHILE YOU ARE DISCONNECTED FROM THE PC/LAPTOP. so remove the usb cable go into settings check the usb debugging back out to the home screen and now plug up the usb .

I attempted debugging on my phone twice, both of which I had enabled the USB development on my phone before the phone was connected to my computer. It seems like OP is in the same situation based on the context of their responses to other, similar advice.
