lg motion -- cannot delete pics

Can anyone help me with deleting pics in my gallery. I have deleted some selecting the thumbnail but I have a few that does not let me select for trashing.

Have you tried long pressing on the image? Is it an image of a picture you took or something else?
 
Its a picture I took. I can touch the image and it just brings it up in view mode. It doesnt give me an option to select for deleting.

Are you using instant upload? If so, you can not delete the pictures that are uploaded to your instant upload folder from your gallery. You have to either use Google+ or Picasa to delete the photos, then they will disappear from your gallery.
 
Sorry I sound so stupid but how do I get to a file explorer. My photos have not been instant uploaded. Again when I try to select I have a box and the pictures to select but cannot check off and the pics kind of grey out ???
 
Hey there kkssteak, let me welcome you to the forums, i know i am a little late to the party here but let me try and help you with your problems!

If these pics are greyed out they have been synced to your phone, i believe, via Google+, which basically means they are not really on your phone, they are on the cloud, meaning the only way to delete them is to get on Google+ and delete them off of there.

ok I have figured out they are on google + . since I have not used this app how do I pull up and clear my cloud?
btw I like the file app thanks for the link!

install the Google plus app
Log in
Delete from instant uploads
Disable instant upload in settings
Uninstall app

k you need to sign in with your gmail account, once you sign in you should see your pictures, to delete them press And hold down on the picture you want to delete it should give you the option to delete multi.;)
 
its in my Picass web album and when holding the only option I have is "share"
Any help would be greatly appreciated .
