LG Motion Cannot disable lock screen from pattern / pin

[Android Question]

I decided to use a pattern lock screen on my LG Motion (MetroPCS) and now I can't get the lock screen back to the Slide option.

I also tried to get back from the pin code but I don't want that either.

When I attempt to change the lock screen to None or Slide I get an error message as follows:

No applications can perform this action. Enable disabled built-in application?

When I tap OK it takes me to the Face Unlock app, which I don't want to use.

Does setting this back to None or Slide require a hard reset?

I ended up clicking on the Enable button for the Face Unlock app, and sure enough, it enabled me to use the other unlock features. Weird.
