Hello and welcome aboard.How do I move things (i.e. Apps, Contacts, pic's) from my phone to my SD card?
Thanks for joining the community - below are two links to two applications that should assist you with your concerns.

You can also move installed applications to your sd card by going into settings - applications - downloads/downloaded choose the app - move to device sd card.

Hey there and welcome to Android Forums.
To add to what Rush said, your pictures should automatically me on your sd card, and if your device is supported, you should be able to hit the menu button while in your contacts and it should give you a import/export option.
