They will most likely sell it until the Nexus 5 launches. What you might have a problem with is Google being short on supply.

That's exactly what I'm going to do except my Vmo plan doesn't end until 22nd so I should have it all done right before they're about to charge me again. :D
 
I'm getting one. I currently have a GNEX with VZW(grandfathered unlimited data) and a Xoom LTE. I am totally switching to T-mobile and going with their unlimited talk, text and data value plan. The LTE speeds in Memphis are no better than HSPA+21 speeds. I will also buy a 3g Nexus 7. I was initially wanting to get a Note 2, but I can get the Nexus 4 and 7 for the price of a Note 2.
 
Say we all get our orders in on the 13th, what's Google's reputation for getting these out the door to us? UK specific question, really.

My N1 took 3 days from US to UK on release if memory serves me correctly

It only costs you 30 quid more than buying out your contract yet once that current contract finishes you are free to move to any sim only deal around giving you much better value than contract longer term. If you like O2 then don't Tesco and Giff Gaff do some really cheap sim only deals that mean the extra 30 pound outlay would easily be made back.

Really the point of my decision was whether I would have the device in my hands on the 13th or wait a few days. The difference in finance is not a factor. I also want to keep my number with minimal fuss and no breaks in its usage.

I was pretty quick with ordering the N7 and that took over a week to come if I remember correctly. The Nexus One and Nexus S were quicker but it depends on the popularity and stock situation I guess. You place your order and take your chances!

On the other hand, my contract runs out in August 2013 and would be handy for the next Nexus in a year's time.

My Nexus 7 took three days.

Remember that they come from Dublin so have to cross the Irish Sea
 
Seriously thinking of going nexus 4/t-mobile and dropping VM. I like my htc evo v but having to hack it to fix radio interference problem plus only getting 300 to 400 kbps really sucks.

I already sold my Evo V 4G, getting the Nexus 4 tomorrow. The Nexus 4 is a beast that's for sure, but make sure you check T-Mobile coverage in your area. Hope it gets here soon, I need a phone.
 
Well, I did have virgin mobile hotspot but it was getting the same 300 to 400 kbps but last week went to t-mobile and got there 4g mobile hotspot and it is doing anywhere from 1.5 mbps to 3 mbps. :D

I'm thinking that t-mobile may have some headaches on there hands soon with the nexus 4 and the 30$ 100 minutes/5g plan.
 
CPW (a store near Coventry) told me today the following:
