Do you do the data reset with the msl code provided by Virgin Mobile or do you root your phone with out fixing error 67? Please respond i am in the middle of the process and dont wont to screw it up!

I can confirm that this process worked beautifully on VM696ZV4.

I even had the OTA upgrade to VM696ZV5 (of course tost root after that), and all I had to do was to run the last step to push the su into the phone.

adb push su /data/local/tmp/su
adb push jc.sh /data/local/tmp/jc.sh
adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/jc.sh
adb reboot

Wow im surprised someone is still using this, just so you know there is a one click root and 2 apps ministro II and poot together that can root this phone in less than 5 minutes as aposed to reading a guide and taking an hour or more

I tried to use this guide with a boot looping phone, but the guide stops and unzipping files. Did the rest get deleted?
