Help LG Optimus F6 Glows Then Cuts Off

I have had my phone for a few years and the contract has expired but recently it has been unresponsive. I keep the phone on the charger and hold the power button but it glows green for a second then cuts off, I have tried many different chargers but it still won't turn on.

It could be that the battery is dead. On most phones the charger just charges the battery, and the phone runs off the battery at all times (so if you remove the battery and connect the phone to the charger it will not have any power). If yours is like that and the battery has simply died then it won't matter what charger you use.

Of course it could be something else, but that is the cheapest and simplest possibility.
