Help LG Optimus F7 screen has a mind of its own

First I'd like to thank all the devs for their hard work on this phone. My phone appears to be a special case as soon as I received it. I bought it used on ebay and for some reason the screen phantom touches and exits and opens apps on its own. I factory reset it and still the same. I installed simplicity rom and its still the same. I've ran out of ideas if anyone can help me salvage the $140 i spent. Also the phone has no visible damage to the touch digitizer.

Still, it sounds as if it needs a new digitizer. I'd try to sell it, get my money back and buy one that doesn't need another $140 in repairs.

I've seen digitizers for the f7 for 30 bucks with needed tools on eBay. If you do it yourself its free of charge but you risk screwing up your phone. If you have a repair place nearby they could charge anywhere from 30-50 bucks to do the repair.

Thanks a lot gentlemen, I've given up and bought a new one. I think I'll take your advice and buy the digitizer just to get back some of the money I spent on it.
