Root Lg optimus L3 help needed, I've been a fool.

Hi, new guy here

I'll try and keep this short, Yesterday I foolishly tried to update my phone's official LG firmware after a notification appeared on my screen when i connected to Wifi. Now my phone is stuck in a clockwork mod recovery loop and wont boot into android 2.3.6 at all, I've tried everything. Including a factory reset (I admit I panicked before doing that) but since I had deleted the only backup I made to free up some space a few months prior to this I cannot go back to my old rom.

Which is why i'm here, I need someone to show me where I can get the stock 2.3.6 rom for T mobile UK (although I've unlocked this phone and normally use 3 network on it) and how to install it please.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You might get the best help in our Optimus L3 forum, since that's where people familiar with this device are most likely to be found.

I don't know anything about installing stock software on an LG, but another possibility would be a custom ROM (copy ROM .zip to phone, install from clockworkmod). There seem to be some here, but please check compatibility and any special requirements before attempting to install any of them. They seem mostly to be based on much newer android versions, and that forum seems to be for several LG models, so I'd make sure I'd checked carefully before trying one.
