All of them are up to date. but just 2 are fully working that are TeamChickenEater and RomZero 2.2.1

If you are still on 2.2 OS,[/url] [/SIZE]getting your goals becomes a bit simpler. But if you have an updated rom version, such as a 2.2.1 and newer you would have to downgrade your rom to 2.2. Both discovered and explained by andy. Other methods are not yet confirmed working on this phone.

I have confirmed that GingerBreak 1.20 now works to root an Optimus M with 2.2.1 installed. Downgrading is no longer required.

I guess since so few use this thread, no one ever posted the recent discoveries.
