Metro PCS no longer sells this phone. I'm curious, if I were to reconnect it will I still have to pay the same amount I paid before ($50 2 years ago) or will it be less?
Although Metro did discontinue the phone quite some time ago, they were actually selling them again as recently as December as a "Purple Tag" item- http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-m/649650-metro-selling-new-optimus-ms.html
No longer on the Metro site now, they must have exhausted that supply and I'd think that's it.
Anyway, what you pay for a plan were you to reactivate it wouldn't depend on the phone itself, just on their current plan offerings. The only difference the phone makes is whether or not it's 4G capable, which of course the M isn't. But it wouldn't be any different for the M vs. another currently available 2G/3G phone.
