on the lg optimus m+ ms695
i am try to install custom rom on my phone

something must be lockd on that phone please help

thanks

Well, unless you have made a custom ROM for the OM+, then you shouldn't be trying to flash a ROM from another phone. We don't have any for our phone yet. That's a sure fire easy to brick it; putting a ROM on for another phone.

If I am right, the MS695MZV4 has a very unique dir/storage map:

/mnt/ ftype device [device2]
/boot emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p9
/cache ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p16
/data ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p21
/misc emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p8
/recovery emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p17
/system ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p14
/emmc vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p20 /dev/block/mmcblk0
/sdcard vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /dev/block/mmcblk1
/sd-ext ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk1p2

Nothing is even close to this nightmare.
here's the system at boot:
dev/block/vold/179:20 /mnt/sdcard vfat rw,dirsync,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,
uid=1000,gid=1015,fmask=0002,dmask=0002,allow_utime=0020,codepage=cp437,iocharse
t=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,utf8,errors=remount-ro 0 0

/dev/block/vold/179:20 /mnt/secure/asec vfat rw,dirsync,nosuid,nodev,noexec,rela
time,uid=1000,gid=1015,fmask=0002,dmask=0002,allow_utime=0020,codepage=cp437,ioc
harset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,utf8,errors=remount-ro 0 0

Life doesn't have to be this way...

Ok, it is a unique system, that expands on the RAM "swapiness" idea, yeah we get it.

Don't be discouraged, because when the optimus grows up, it wants to be this...

This is my MS695ZV4 with a 16Gb SDcard mounted.
We'll for about 30 minutes, then it was: "With this phone, I can do anything....I wonder what's inside this little android?" =two weeks of bootloading and bombing, till I brought my phone back to factory with the KZ-5000 utility.

oK! The SDcard multimount utility is an apk widget you toss on your desktop. It mounts the SDcards in one click.

I've never used the KZ 500 utility so I cant say on it.

At this time I dont know of any way other than whats been posted.

I can check with a contact about a tot for it, but we still havent had any luck with the needed dlls for the others we got.

Thanks bro, that .ToT would be a huge step in the right direction for me...I got a lot of respect for you bro.. even when your not directly helping me, probably 90 % of the threads that i end up relying on to fix or mod phones end up being threads, mods, or software development, you created on or info youve shared on this site in the past. your knowlege is respected and appreciated.

thanks , Irishman

You can change your boot image with ROM toolbox pro
thats the boot splash (LG logo in this case) it changes and its only for certain devices like the DroidX, not one LG is supported by that feature. And it sure as shyt cant change out the boot.img !!! ;)
