Help LG Optimus M no data

hi all. i have an lg optimus m 2.2.2 non rooted, and i cant connect to data services period. have had the phone for about 4 days now, and upgraded the one on my line. last phone (lg imprint, lol) all data worked fine. ive seen all sorts of threads on this, but its been killing me. not been able to access anything outside of texting or calling unless on wifi. (not even sms) have updated the prl to 3023 to no avail. any help you guys could lend would be greatly appreciated! thanks :D

--Note: wireless network just says disconnected. if i jump in and out of airplane mode says connecting for approx. 30 secs. then disconnected. wifi works fine
 
well i did this guide to the letter, no difference whatsoever. phone restarted and did the usual: wire4less network status: connecting. 30 secs. later ; wireless network status: disconnected.. still no 1x symbol on my notification bar
 
wondering if you ever got the data working?? I have the same problem and have done that tutorial and still no data i flashed my optimus m to another carrier then flashed back to metro now my data is gone anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem??
 
mine is doing the same thing. they have swapped the phone 3 times and changed my phone number. seems like they can reset it and do some majic on it and it might work for a day or so, but then no internet, gps, pix messaging. i am at my wits end. ready to go to another network. i use metro pcs so dont know if its the phone or the network.
