LG Optimus One Android 4.0

Will the LG Optimus One P500h ever get Android 4.0? Has Android 2.3 Gingerbread become "old?" Do people now consider it "old?"

another question would be, can P500 able to take it? The tech specs seems a little underpowered compared to the more recent Android phones.

Im just saying tho. :)

In theory any smartphone capable running Gingerbread is capable to run ICS.
But in our case there is a big problem. The devs from xda are uncapable to make HWA to run. Is it a Qualcomm's or LG' or Google's fault remains to be seen. Our only hope lie in CyangenMod and his team. If they succed then next year (end of January-February) we will have ICS on our units.

It seems that Google has decided to support only ARM 7 and higher CPU's and newest chipsets.
