Lg optimus ph500 wifi issue

so my LG connects to the wifi no problem no matter where i am it can be any connection, BUT i cant use it, it wont load any apps! Ex. Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and Play Store. i can only use my browser im so confused! im not using a router, im using my Mac's Internet Sharing, its been working fine for months! but all of a sudden this happened! PLEASE HELP
