LG Optimus V (VM670)

I just got one of these very-well-reviewed phones. (I had gotten an Optimus M about 3 months ago!)

Very impressed with the hardware (it feels lighter and thinner than my M)--and it seems to have come with about a third-to-half less bloatware on it!

Only had it a couple of hours--so I have no idea if it will work better as a phone--but I installed an app that showed me that there's a Sprint tower about a half-a-block away!

It's running 2.1.1--I can't wait until I can get it rooted! Anyone have any success yet?

Actually...the stock O/S is 2.2.1. And there is a ton of info online...here...and at Android Central, about rooting the V. People are way, way beyond that.
