If you're talking about in Contacts...add a contact for yourself in your GMail contacts. It will sync (as long as you have the account set to do so) back to your phone. Add a pic there. If you're talking about here at AF, it's done through the User CP (Control Panel) in the Blue bar above the thread pages.

Take a pic of yourself (or what you want to "be"). In contacts choose yourself and select edit or make a contact for yourself if one doesn't already exist. Click on the blank photo space at the top of the contact screen and choose the photo you took.
