Help Lg p500 problems

I have accidentally installed a theme that is probably of higher resolution than my phone screen. Now in locked mode the unlocking option/pattern/graphics is not visible as it is 'spilling out of screen'. Android debugging is on in my device (thankfully). Please suggest me a tool/method using which i can control the phone using PC(or atleast unlock the phone). I (obviously) cannot install anything on my phone, i found some such apps that need installation on phone.
Last option is to flash my phone in recovery with a ROM, but i dont want to do that if other ways possible. my phone is on MIUI ROM developed on 26/9/12

I updated my LG P500 to 2.3.3. But now I am not able to connect it with LG PC suite it always say no response from the device. I have re installed drivers, LG pc suite also tried with USB debugging, but all in vain.
It is working fine with USB mode.
I read all the forums regarding this but nothing helped me.
It was working fine prior to software update. If anyone has any idea about that please help.
I have tried to connect my phone as much as possible except factory reset as someone told in some thread that it wont help and I am afraid of losing all the contact and other data( no backup is there as I reinstalled the pc suite).

I had a similar problem after attempting to update the software via LG PC Suite. LG Customer Support was most unhelpful when I contacted them. I eventually got it to work by firstly deleting all LG drivers and devices off my PC via Add/Remove Programs and Device Manager (search for and check out TweakGuides Tweaking Companion for info on how to show hidden devices in Device Manager) and then installing the drivers via the LG Mobile Support Tool. I didn't find the download on the Product Support web page to be of any use either initially or after deleting drivers. Just delete your drivers and stick to the LG Mobile Support Tool for installing the correct drivers.

Note that after the upgrade, LG PC Suite continues to tell me that there is a phone software update. If you try to install it, it invokes the LG Mobile Support Tool, which will tell you that your phone software is up to date. LG Customer Support was just as unhelpful with this issue and I have stopped using LG PC Sync. I use Google Calendar Sync and GO Contact Sync to synchronise Outlook on my PC with my phone (not directly, but via my Google account, i.e. Google Calendar, GMail contacts).

Good Luck!

By the way, I have had problems with my GPS ever since the upgrade to Android 2.3.3. No matter what application I am using, I lose GPS after about 2 or 3 minutes of use. If I stop and restart the application (e.g. Google Navigator/Google Maps Navigation), I can get another 2-3 minutes of use out of it, but as you can imagine this is only really useful for inventing new curse word combinations. Yesterday I found out that I could use the GPS Data application to clear the GPS data cache, so I tried this. I haven't given the GPS a decent test yet, but I am hopeful that this may have addressed the problem.

The GPS issue seems to be related to memory. If I have less than about 25 MB internal storage free, I can expect it to disconnect after a couple of minutes, but it will occasionally have the same fault regardless of storage available. If I have more than about 25 MB internal storage free, a reboot will generally sort this out (although it's not a particularly safe operation at 100 kph), so I suspect it is a memory management issue.
