LG-P925P Receives Gingerbread

Just wanted to let the use-to-be unfortunate LG Thrill owners know that if you have the latest model, LG-P925P, Gingerbread is now available for our devices. Just updated, didn't lose any of my installed content, so you don't have to back anything up.

How do you figure if the P925 model received the update about that time? This thread is regarding the P925P model, not to be confused with P925.

How did you get this to work? The update tool won't recongnize my phone, I've uninstalled the drivers a few times now. Restarted my computer, my phone, etc. I'm pulling my hair out here!

Does your computer recognize the device? If so, the only reason I could think the updater wouldn't recognize your phone would be due to USB debugging not being turned on, or you having to do a factory reset. You could always try contacting The Dark Lestat on XDA, he can assist you better.

It was USB debugging. I saw it on another thread and felt like an idiot, don't know why I didn't think of it. lol! After I check it off, it connected.
