Is there any way this can get removed in the future? The best part i liked about ICS was it's Black and Blue. I'd love the black menus back, not white.

For a complete rom, yes.
For some stock looking apks here and there you can either Google, theme them, or try replacing them with stock apks in xda.

Stock apk? Would it have to be for lg or ics? Can you give me an example or a link? Like the other guy said i like the black settings menu and contacts.

Wow that's pretty cool, quick question though, will the apps update through the Google Play store normally when there is a new update or will I need to go to the site to download a new version,

edit: hm, looks like most of them the only way is to flash it, are we out of luck on this, I would love black themes.

It works for contacts too.

I moved some of them to /system/app. Only MMS, YouTube, gmail, email, calculator, and calendar worked.

Yeah move it there than move the lg mms to your SD card and reboot.

Just the apk.
Everything thing else is so that the zip is flash able on cwm.

I download the new mms app, backup the old one, put the new one in system/app folder, restart, install new one (everything works) but as soon as I restart phone it stops working.

Am I doing something wrong?

Not that i need it but does anyone have the stock mms.apk? I was interrupted while in root explorer and deleted it on accident. The inverted works great but just as a precaution i want the stock apk.

So replacing the old mms app with an inverted one causes no issues with texts/mms..will it soft brick it, do i need to rename the new mms app?
