Root Lg update tool?

So I went back to zvb and tried to update to zvd again and the damn tool frezzed up on me saying lg wasn't able to do the update? And my computer was plugged in to the Ethernet cable? So it wasn't a connection problem what should I do? Phone is useless thanks to lg
