Although im not convinced of the need to buy a volt 2. Smaller battery, probably the same snapdragon 410 chipset (that i hated) on the moto e 2015, forced lollipop update, tiny bit bigger screen and better front camera?
Not convinced lg, youll have to do better to get another 150 out of my pockets. Also this seems likes its gonna be lg's reason to not give us an official lollipop upgrade on the volt.

I was thinking the same thing... It still has the same 8GB storage and 1GB ram....

It just doesnt seem like they upgraded it enough to make it worth another 150, especially since the volt has only been out about a year. I like how they are trying to make it look even more like a g3, but thats about it. Everything else is too close to our volt 1 model.
16GB would make it much more appealing, after the OS you only have 4 - 5GB of internal storage to use on all the 8GB phones.

I broke the LTE on my Volt and I've been looking for the right phone to replace it. The Volt 2's battery is the main deal breaker for me, that and the 1 GB of RAM.
Storage would be somewhat okay with me but the fact that it still has 1GB ram means I have no reason to buy it.

The entire name Volt is for the fact that it's got a 3000mah battery. Take that away and that's pretty much a bigger version of the Realm or something.

I love the 3000 mAh battery. I would consider the LG G Stylo as an upgrade.
The market is so competitive that they better price this at less than $100. If it's near $200, I'll just go with ASUS.
Like others have stated my main reason for buying was the big battery. Then some of the other additions like IR, FM radio. Other than that, I was disappointed it only has 1gb ram, 8gb rom. They really need to double both. I also would like it to have the ambient light sensor and OTB support (these are insignificant costs). But I can't have it all... I know.

Got my wife the Lg G Stylo and it's a pretty decent phone. It does have some lag when switching apps but hopefully rooting and debloating will solve that. It also has a 3000 mAh battery

More interested in the 2015 Moto G for a few bucks more when it drops. Just can't get past LGs UI...but they do make some nice devices.
Funny!!! Boost originally skipped the S4 and went to the S5 (probably to help sales numbers for Samsung). Now they want to offload excess old Sprint Inventory of the S4 for Boost?And in other news...
