LG Volt 2

Can't you get a sprint S4 for $200 at best buy then convert it to boost
Im not sure but I thought I remembered reading the Sprint devices had to be previously activated on Sprint. I bought a G2 from a friend for 75 bucks. You just need to look in the site and see what devices are authorized for BYOD.

The Volt 2 is going for $130 new on eBay.

I like having the IR blaster on the volt. It's one of them features I didn't know I needed till I had it. I can't believe they didn't put one on the volt 2 or the stylo...

I don't know for sure, I'd say it'll be a while. The Galaxy s4 is $199 at best buy, but I still would prefer the LG G2 over the s4 because of the Snapdragon 800 and the bigger 3000 mAh battery.
Not sure if you bought it or not but am I safe in assuming the LG G2 doesn't work with their prepaid plans?

That's exactly why I chose not to buy it. I think I'm going to get the LG G Stylo for my next phone. I'd love to have the LG G2, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work on pre paid.

G2 is available on Boost if you can find one. (it was discontinued) the Sprint version is on the list of authorized devices for Boosts very slim "BYOD" ... I currently have a 32gb model (Sprint) running perfectly on Boost. If you do buy a used one make sure it has the Sprint UICC or you won't get LTE connectivity. (Almost impossible to find a compatible replacement.)

This is great to hear! I'm sure it would also be compatible on Sprint prepaid?

With nothing installed on the Volt 2, fresh out the box. You have 3.38gb out of the 8gb left for storage.

Well, really, you only have 4GB for storage. The phone has 8GB of internal memory, but 4 of it is partitioned off for the system. This is why uninstalling system apps doesn't increase your storage space, they're in a different partition. You can move user apps to the system partition though.

It's just something to keep in mind in case your thinking about upgrading to the Volt 2. And the Volt 2 runs in art. Storage space will get eaten up quick especially when you update the Google apps...
